Jim Reese Europe's Hellfighters, African-Americans and Puerto Ricans who brought jazz to Europe during WWI. In addition to their importance in jazz history, Europe's orchestras were among the earliest to demonstrate the importance of Puerto Ricans in African-American music and US musical overall.
