Despite the rhetoric and anti-black, anti-Semitic ideology, jazz remained popular with the rank and file German soldiers, as well as being used by Nazi propagandists against the British, French, and US. Fascinating to hear how jazz was transported to Europe and used in such a contradictory way by Nazis.
