Although we were never huge fans of Cassandra Wilson, news of her recent passing rekindled our interest in her music. Several eons ago, as a budding fan of jazz, we did listen to a few of her albums. In spite of her very unique voice, we were not particularly drawn to her music. But we may have made a mistake by hastily moving on to other jazz vocalists.
