Favorites from The Roots, Part VI

Some of the best songs from Tipping Point and Game Theory are listed below. Tipping Point was a weak album compared to everything else The Roots did but there are some catchy and funky songs. Game Theory is one of the strongest releases from The Roots, and definitely worth checking out in its entirety.

"I Don't Care"

"Guns Are Drawn" is one of my favorite songs by The Roots

"Stay Cool" is another favorite of mine. It has a Middle-Eastern feel and some jazz influences.

"Boom" is worth hearing as well

"Why (What's Goin On?)"

"False Media" got the Public Enemy influences

"Game Theory" has rockish elements

"Don't Feel Right" is another all-time favorite of mine from The Roots

"Baby" also has rock influences. Interesting beat.

"Long Time"

"Livin' In a New World"

"Clock With No Hands" is another timeless classic. Interesting drumming, nice keyboard hook, and soulful

"Atonement" is unforgettable for the Radiohead sample (accordion works well with hip-hop)

"Can't Stop This" is a great tribute to the late J Dilla using one of Dilla's own beats
